The PTSA will meet at 5:30 p.m. Thursday in the staff room. Work will focus on developing the "SoHi for a Safe Community Program" in partnership with the Soldotna Police Department. Community attendance and participation are greatly appreciated.

The staff would like to thank the Soldotna Professional Pharmacy for sponsoring improvements to the gym.

Saturday School is open from 9 a.m. to noon in the computer lab for students requiring extra help.

After the Bell is available to students from 7 to 7:40 a.m. and from 2:30 to 4 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays.

Mrs. Moore and Mrs. Syverson will hold a scholarship packet-college search workshop at 7 p.m. Sept. 27 in the library. It is open to students and parents. The workshop will focus on how to put together a scholarship packet in addition to exploring resources to help with the college search process.

SoHi students donated 50 bowls to help out the food bank with its annual soup supper. Work already is under way for next year. Individuals interested in helping out with this program may call Ann Wilson at 262-7411, extension 283.
