Racing Lions to hold night races

The Kenai Peninsula Racing Lions - Circle Track Division will hold races under the lights on Friday and Saturday at Twin Cities Raceway in Kenai.

On both nights, the time trials will start at 6 p.m. and the racing will start at 7 p.m. Once it gets dark enough, the lights, provided by Airport Equipment Rentals, will be turned on.

There will be 10 to 12 sprint cars in attendance. On Friday, United States Auto Racing Club champion Kevin Huntley will race. There also are expected to be full fields in the A-Stock, B-Stock and Late Models.

General admission to the race is $10, while senior citizens and kids 6 to 12 get in for $7.
