Soldotna resident Norma Jean Nugent died Sunday, July 25, 2010 at Central Peninsula Hospital in Soldotna. She was 56.
Per her wishes, Ms. Nugent was interred next to her parents in Fairview Cemetery in New Albany, Indiana.
Ms. Nugent was born July 2, 1954 in Louisville, Ky., to the late Chesley Truman and Emilene Mouser. She has lived in Soldotna since 1981. She was a floral designer by trade, a craft she loved, and spent many years at The Flower House in Kenai.
Ms. Nugent is survived by her life partner of 24 years, Melvin Forsyth Jr. of Soldotna; brothers Roger Mouser and his wife, Jackie, of Kenai, John Mouser, Jim Mouser, Chesley Thomas Mouser and his wife Sue, and Roy Mouser, all of New Albany.
