Light quake shakes Kenai Peninsula

PALMER (AP) -- A light earthquake shook the Kenai Peninsula early Tuesday.

The Alaska Tsunami Warning Center in Palmer said the magnitude 5.0 quake occurred at 1:42 a.m. and was centered about 55 miles northwest of Homer.

There were no reports of any damage or injuries.
