ORLAND PARK, Ill. (AP) A suburban Chicago church whose pastor suggested that even moderate Muslims fund terrorists will no longer be a polling place for the Nov. 2 election.
Cook County Clerk David Orr decided not to require voters to cast ballots at the 1,900-member Ashburn Baptist Church after some residents complained about comments the Rev. Vernon Lyons made at a public hearing to oppose building of a proposed mosque.
''Muslim terrorists kill people. Moderate Muslims do not kill people. Moderate Muslims supply the cash to the militant Muslims,'' Lyons said.
