Reader wants cash now

Pay me now. I have been watching the stock market flirt with crashing the last few weeks. This is my question to state officials about our state dividend from the oil: The state was willing to pay each one $25,000 when we had $3 billion in profits. Now that we have 15 times that at $45 billion, what are they willing to give each one of us?

I have been against doing away with the dividend from the get-go. I am a 33-year resident, but I feel now is the time for us to look at this in a very serious way, with a possible buyout before we lose what we have due to the coming crash of the dollar and the U.S. economy or the state figures out how to just take it from us due to the economy.
