Help for commercial fishermen available
The Alaska Division of Investments will do outreach work with commercial fishermen from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Kenai Peninsula Borough Assembly Chambers in Soldotna. Staff will assist borrowers who need help with loan extension applications, workouts on existing loans and new loan applications. Appointments are not necessary to receive assistance.

Community schools begins registration
Soldotna Community Schools will hold registration from noon to 2 p.m. at the Soldotna Sports Center and from 6 to 8 p.m. at Soldotna Middle School on Thursday.
