NOTES: A year ago, this race was rescheduled for Thanksgiving weekend after the terrorist attacks. ... The corners at both ends of the raceway were widened in the off-season to allow for more side by side racing, but the work also created a problem during the July race at New Hampshire. The pavement broke up in the third and fourth turns, causing a lot of accidents.
