Sharon Leigh Fauteaux of Yoncalla, Oregon and former long time resident of Kenai, passed away on Thursday, August 12, 2010 due to complications of a recent surgery. She was 69.
At her request, there will be no services.
She is survived by her husband, Jeff Fauteaux, daughters Lucinda (Cindy) Harwood and her husband Robert of Montrose, CO; Julianne Lowman of Decatur, AL; stepson Michael Fauteaux of Aztec, NM; step daughter Sheila Blackwell of Rifle, CO; sister Sondra Annis of Orofino, ID, brother Frank Chase of Salt Lake City, UT, grandchildren, Jessica Martin, Veronica Doyal, Kamilah Drake, Andrew, Heather, Josh and Liberty Lowman and great grandchildren Korbin Pallas, McKenzie, Aston and Delilah Martin.
Sharon was a co-owner/operator of Redoubt Kennels in North Kenai. She, along with her husband Jeff, owned and operated Fauteaux's Fast Photo in Kenai, Noah's Ark and La Pet Shop also in Kenai.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Kenai and Kenai Chamber of Commerce. Sharon enjoyed playing violin and piano. In earlier years she trained and showed horses. While in Kenai, she groomed, trained and showed dogs.
After many years they moved to Yoncalla, Oregon where Sharon was the owner/operator of Sharon's Bookkeeping and Tax Service. She was a member of the Vine Street Baptist Church in Roseburg, OR and also attended the First Baptist Church in Drain, OR.
She was a devoted and loving wife and mother. We will dearly miss her.
