WRCC fund-raiser today

The Women's Resource and Crisis Center will hold its 20th annual radiothon fund-raiser from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today on KSRM radio 92 AM. Cash and in-kind donations pledged during the radiothon will support the agency's services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, as well as its community and school prevention programs. PSDRA schedules meeting

The Peninsula Sled Dog Racing Association will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday at Buckets restaurant. The meeting is for members and anyone interested in learning about dog-powered sports. For more information, call Mindee Morning, at 283-3954 or Mitch Michaud at 262-4977.

Subsistence issues to be discussed

Community dance planned

There will be an alcohol-free community dance from 8 to midnight Saturday at the Merit Inn in Kenai. A disc jockey will play a variety of music. Admission is by donation and by wearing a fun hat. For more information, call Tootie at 283-5747.

Watershed Forum to hold appreciation party

The Kenai Watershed Forum will hold a volunteer and member appreciation party from 3:30 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the Kenai River Center.
