Skeleton found near Eagle

EAGLE (AP) -- Alaska State Troopers are investigating the discovery of a skeleton near the town of Eagle.

The skeleton was found on the bank of the Yukon River by an archaeologist on Sept. 7, troopers said Thursday.

Investigators said the skeleton appears to be several years old.

No other details were available.
