Bible workshop offered

The Kenai Christian Church is offering a fall focus workshop, titled "How to Study the Bible," at noon Saturday. Registration begins at 11:30 a.m. The cost is $10 at the door. Lunch will be served at noon. Child care is provided. For more information, call 283-3516 or 283-4559.

Clothing ministry planned Saturday

First Baptist Church of Soldotna will hold its New 2 U Clothing Ministry Saturday from noon to 3 p.m. There will be children's, women's and men's clothing available to those in need at no cost. Coats and shoes are available, as well.

The ministry is held at 119 Little Ave. in Soldotna.

 

This Hope

This Hope to perform in Kenai

Christian group This Hope will be in concert at the Kenai Central High School Auditorium Thursday and Sept. 21 at 7 p.m.

The group includes five Soldotna High School graduates -- Dave Inabnit, Mikah Boudreaux, Daniel Johnston, Jeane Bope and Tim Inabnit -- who moved to Atlanta in 1997. They tour professionally throughout the United States and overseas, singing more than 200 concerts each year.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for those age 10 and under. They are available at Beemun's, The Master's Vineyard, Good Books and More, Trinity Greenhouse and at the door.
