Michelle L. Aldridge and Britton Davis of Bishop, Calif., were married at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 16, 2003, at the Unocal Recreation Area in Nikiski. Robert DeVolld officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Dale and Diane Aldridge of Nikiski. She graduated from Nikiski Middle-Senior High School in 2000 and attended Prairie Bible College in Alberta, Canada, and Wilderness Discipleship Training and the School of Outdoor Adventure and Recreation in Bishop. She works for Youth With a Mission Sea and Summit Expeditions in Bishop.
She wore a cream-colored, satin, strapless, embroidered gown, beaded with pearls, and carried a bouquet of silk orange and yellow calla lilies.
The groom is the son of Jim and Cheryl Davis of Bishop. He graduated from Kirke Academy in 2000 and attended the School of Outdoor Adventure and Recreation in Bishop. He also works for Youth With a Mission Sea and Summit Expeditions in Bishop.
Katie McDougall of Ontario, Canada, was the maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Tiffany Wilkes of Nikiski and Nicole Norton of Ontario, sisters of the bride; Bobbi Durden of Livingston, Mont.; and Corina Davis of California, sister of the groom. Josie Personius, cousin of the groom, was the flower girl.
The best man was John Tyberg of Altadena, Calif. The groomsmen were Ben, Jeff, Tim and Eddie Davis, brothers of the groom.
Ben Davis played the guitar and sang during the ceremony.
The reception had a three-tier cake decorated with fresh fruit.
The couple honeymooned at a mountain cabin in the Eastern Sierra Mountains and live in Bishop.
