Former Soldotna resident Harold Ray Hollon died Thursday, Sept. 7, 2000, in Anchorage. He was 62.
Mr. Hollon was born Aug. 17, 1938, in Montgomery, Ala. He moved to Alaska in March, 1964, and lived in Soldotna, Fairbanks and Anchorage. He worked for Anchorage Telephone Utility.
Mr. Hollon was a member of the Moose Lodge and the American Legion and enjoyed golf, fishing and hunting.
The family wrote, "You may be gone from us, but you will remain forever dear to us and you will forever live on in the hearts of the many people that loved you."
Mr. Hollon is survived by his wife, Janice Hollon, of Anchorage; his sons Danny Hollon, of Slapout, Ala., Mark Hollon, of Semi Valley, Calif., and David Hollon, of Sterling; daughters Laurie Renfrow, of Kenai, Carolyn Tipton, of Dallas, Texas, Lisa Clark, of Anchorage; 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
