Food bank benefits from KeyBank's 'Neighbors Make A Difference Day'

Posted: Monday, September 15, 2003

The Kenai Peninsula Food Bank wishes to thank KeyBank employees for painting our soup kitchen serving area and public restrooms Sept. 9 during their "Neighbors Make A Difference Day." They used paint graciously donated by Russ Rosin and Mike of Columbia Paint & Coatings.

Thanks to Kristine Holdrige, Kristy Hughes, Frank Johnson, Kristen Johnston, Crystal Olender, Lisa Roberts and Heather Willis for helping us!

Last month more than 1,300 meals were served in the soup kitchen program at the food bank, 33955 Community College Drive, Soldotna. Everyone is welcome to enjoy a hot meal from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. We appreciate donations from those who are able to contribute.
