Many helped 4-H'er with loss of lamb

Posted: Thursday, September 15, 2005

Dear 4-H families, I don't know how to express the proper gratitude that I felt for all of the tears, support, money, etc. that you all gave to me after the death of my lamb E.J. We are all so busy going in different directions all of the time, but when someone is in need or has a problem, it amazes me how quickly we all pull together and help out however we can. I want each and every one of you to know how I truly appreciated everything that was done for me.

Some gave money, other shed tears. Some talked with me, or just gave a simple hug. Others offered ice cream (Tera Schnabl), and some even did the "yuckee" part of butchering for me. Dr. Nybakken even offered me the knowledge of what really happened to E.J.

Thank you for allowing me to be a part of the auction, even though I didn't feel quite deserving of it.

I truly, truly appreciate each and every one of you.

Kade Foust, 4-H member
