McNabb, Metzger wed in Florida

Julie McNabb and Wade Metzger were married Saturday, Aug. 18, 2001, at the home of the bride's sister and brother-in-law Lissa and Eddie Wolfcale in Bushnell, Fla.

The bride is the daughter of Dan and Marie Clausen of Kenai. She wore a full-length, white gown and carried a bouquet of white and yellow roses.

The wedding reception followed the ceremony, where the bride and groom had their first dance on a floor of hay.

Julie graduated from Cook Inlet Academy in Soldotna in 1988 and received a degree in teaching from the University of Alaska Anchorage. She works as a teacher at Central Middle School in Anchorage.

Wade graduated from Service High School in Anchorage in 1984 and received a degree from Oregon State University. He is employed by Chester Park retirement home.

The couple lives in Anchorage.

Forms for engagements and weddings are available at the Clarion's Kenai and Soldotna offices. Color or black and white pictures also may be submitted. Photos with an address written on the back will be returned.

Weddings must be submitted within six months to be printed.
