High flying artwork promotes Games

Era Aviation is sporting an added look to its fleet. Decals promoting the Arctic Winter Games, which will be hosted by the Kenai Peninsula in 2006, are being added to three Dash-8s, two Convairs and four Twin Otters. Era is one of the sponsors of the Games.

Area chambers set schedule

Chambers of commerce speakers for the upcoming week include:

The Soldotna Chamber of Commerce will meet at noon Tuesday at the Riverside House. Jeanie Camp, economic analyst for the Kenai Peninsula Borough, will speak. For more information, call Shanon Hamrick at 262-9814.

Kenai mayoral candidates will speak at the Kenai Chamber of Commerce meeting at noon Wednesday at Paradisos. Lunch is $11. For more information, call 283-7989.

The Nikiski Chamber of Commerce will meet Sept. 23 at Lighthouse Community Church (previously North Kenai Baptist Church). Candidates for North Peninsula Law Enforcement Service Area Board seat C will speak. For more information, call Judene Van Cleave at 776-5551.

Builders to hold meeting

The Kenai Peninsula Builders Association will hold a general membership meeting at 6:30 p.m. today at Old Town Village Restaurant in Kenai. Kenai Peninsula Borough Mayor Dale Bagley will speak.
