Kenai to host motivational speaker

Motivational speaker H. Stephen Glenn will present "Developing Capable Young People," next week in Kenai. Glenn, internationally recognized for his contributions to education, family life and young people, has been a featured speaker at the White House, where he was honored by Nancy Reagan as one of the nation's most outstanding family life and drug abuse prevention professionals. He has received many national awards for his service to education, psychology, health promotion, self-esteem, community development and family life.

He is the author of "Developing Capable Young People," and travels the world speaking to parents, teachers, pastors, counselors and family services professionals.

He will speak to educators from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Sept. 24 at the Renee C. Henderson Auditorium at Kenai Central High School and to parents from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Sept. 25 at the auditorium. The cost is $5.
