I would like to take this opportunity to thank the following local businesses, as well as individuals, for the success of Soldotna High School's homecoming activities.
A huge thank you to Coca-Cola for the donation of the Coke trailer; to Three Bears, Soldotna Professional Pharmacy, Joe and Susan Perletti, John F. Kobylarz, DMD, and Thomas A. Kobylarz, DDS, for the monetary gift donations; to Arby's (Soldotna) for the paper products; to Godfather's Pizza for the donation of the pizza; to Regal Foods-Hostess Bakery for the donation of the Twinkies, Ding-Dongs and Cupcakes; to the Soldotna Tesoros for the donation of the cups; to Mr. Dusek, Mr. Howard, Mr. Tuter and Mr. Druce for being the best administration to work with; to Mrs. Gardner for the use of the helium tanks; and to Mr. Carlson for once again letting us use the metal shop!
I would like to thank the following parents of SoHi cheerleaders for all of their time and efforts during this busy homecoming weekend: John and Joyce Mullican, Darlene Glick (super woman), Linda Cusack, Linzy Mullican, Nicki Eshleman, Mary Broderick, Theresa Parson, Tom Seggerman, Leslie Cummings, Trish Joule and all of the other parents. Your time and efforts, along with your support of this program, are amazing! Thank you!
My thanks go to the following members of the SoHi Football Booster Club: Helen Aye, Angela Goracke, Terri Carter, Jodi Asimakopoulos and Sally Tachick for their help in inflating and hanging around 600 balloons. Thank you, Helen, for organizing all of the different crews to help us.
I also would like to thank my assistant coach, Megan Hatten, for all of her help during the weekend.
Finally, my biggest thanks are to the awesome group of girls I get to coach every day. Your dedication, motivation, desire and outstanding attitudes keep me inspired every day, and I feel very lucky to be a part of your lives. Thank you for all you do for SoHi cheerleading.
