Candidate views: James Butler, Kenai City Council
Council seat a chance to serve

I have served on the Kenai City Council for almost one year and learned what hard work it takes to be an informed and effective council member.Ê

Over the past year the Council considered many issues including decreased revenues, increasing expenses, land use challenges, economic development, road and facility maintenance, clean drinking water and public parks.

If elected, I will continue to address these challenges based on my experience as a husband and father of 3 children, local businessman and nearly 30 years of residency in Kenai.Ê

I pledge to seek out concerns and ideas from city residents and local business owners if given the opportunity to continue to serve on the City of Kenai Council. I would appreciate your vote on October 4, 2005 and the opportunity to continue working hard for the City of Kenai as your council member for the next 3 years.
