The Vineyard new owner Brenda Clyde and daughter Sarah Theiss welcome you to their new store next to Columbia Paints in Soldotna.

Brenda Clyde is the new owner of The Vineyard; formerly The Master’s Vineyard located at the Mooring Plaza on the Spur Highway in Soldotna, and has moved The Vineyard to an all new location on the opposite side of the Spur Highway next to Columbia Paints and Sweeney’s Clothing Store. “I wanted to create a place where people could come in and relax, take a few minutes to sit down and look through a book or listen to some music and have a cup of coffee,” says Brenda, and one stop by the new store and you’ll quickly agree that she has done just that, “The coffee pot is always on and I encourage people to come in and look, take their time look for a gift or just visit with a friend or come in and visit with me. I absolutely love visiting with folks and hearing the incredible things God is doing in their lives, that’s what we’re here for,” added Brenda.

The new entrepreneur says going into the book store and gift shop business was not something that she was looking for, “Carlene who use to own the store was a friend and I use to help her off and on and in the process of her looking to sell the business we starting talking about my purchasing the store but it didn’t work out last winter, then this July some incredible things happened and doors opened and God went to work and before I knew it here I am in a new store celebrating our grand opening. I’m thrilled and excited for the adventure that God has put in front of me and am looking forward to doing what He’d have me to do,” Clyde told the Dispatch.

Brenda and her daughter Sarah Theiss have created an elegant atmosphere at the new store with a variety of gifts that have not been available in the local area, “We have a lot more space now with lots of light and while we still carry all the books and items we had before, we’ve brought in a lot of new gift ideas that include a lot of beautiful wall pieces, wall art and pictures, we have a nice stock of Seraphim by Roman which are lovely collectable angels, we have journals and note pads, and a lot of things that you’d just like to pick up for a friend to let them know you care about them. We have a beautiful selection of hand made gift candles from Homer called Lighted Forest candles that are scented with natural oils and not perfumes and we are the only store in the Kenai area that carries the Lighted Forest brand. Our goal has been to have some very unique things for you to easily find for special people in your life, and we are always here to help you find that special item,” added Sarah.

During their grand opening week The Vineyard has special daily sale items that will only be announced in the store. The Vineyard is located next to the HairForce and Columbia Paint Store on the Spur Highway in Soldotna and is open Monday through Friday 10:00am 6:00pm and Saturday 10:00am 4:00pm.
