Moderate quake felt in Old Harbor

PALMER (AP) -- A moderate earthquake shook Kodiak Island Tuesday afternoon.

The earthquake had a magnitude of 4.9 and occurred at 12:20 p.m., according to the Alaska Tsunami Warning Center.

The quake was centered 40 miles west of Old Harbor and was felt in the village. There were no reports of damage or injuries.
