Poet's Corner

When I climb the mountain of the dead,

I'll place you on top.

Not because I love you,

Oh, god I do,

But because it's to hard,

To dig through the jumble,

To find your number.

I'll stumble among the numbers,

Just to see you there,

I know in my despair,

I won't have a single care.

I'll come unprepared.

Daring Death to come and stare.

So I climbed the mountain of the dead,

A place where no man should tread.

I placed you there, but I have failed.

For now you're under me all because I came,

and let Death come and stare.
