ANCHORAGE (AP) -- A man found dead in the alley behind the Egan Center early Wednesday morning died of natural causes.
The body of David Kagoona, 49, was found by a convention center security guard who thought Kagoona was still alive.
Police spokesman Ron McGee said the security guard prodded Kagoona and then called the city's Community Service Patrol, which was not open at that hour. The security guard called police shortly after 7 a.m.
Kagoona was originally from Noorvik in western Alaska about 210 miles northeast of Nome. He had lived in Anchorage recently.
