Her friends and family were always at her side, helping young adults to stay in school, to get an education, to never give up and to achieve success in everything and every way possible. Everyone who knew her greatly loved and respected her, for she loved life by always setting a good example for others to follow. She was always meeting new friends and never met a stranger. She will be greatly missed in this community. She had always given so much of her time, effort and love too. This is her home. She will be greatly missed by everyone who was fortunate enough to have known this fantastic lady. Helping others succeed was her greatest joy. Anita loved Alaska as well as the United States of America. She enjoyed being married and a housewife, teaching, quilting, and being a friend," her family said.
