KENAI (AP) -- The Kenai Peninsula Borough is holding an auction of more than 5,500 surplus items.
Mark Fowler, the borough's purchasing and materials manager, said some items are grouped together while others will be auctioned off separately
''We have a lot of single items,'' he said. ''Some of the larger printers, copiers, things of that nature, we tend to separate those,'' Fowler said.
Vehicles are bound to be popular items.
''Historically, they are always the big sellers,'' Fowler said.
The list of items can be reviewed at the finance department and school district offices in the Borough Administration Building in Soldotna. The auction will begin Saturday at 10 a.m.
