ANCHORAGE (AP) -- Delegates to the state AFL-CIO convention in Fairbanks re-elected Mano Frey as executive president of the labor organization last week.
Frey, marking his 18th year in the position, ran unopposed.
''That's the kind of election I like,'' he said jokingly on Friday.
Bruce Ludwig was re-elected as secretary treasurer. Ludwig is business manager for the Alaska Public Employees Association.
About 50 vice presidents also were elected, Frey said.
The AFL-CIO in Alaska is an umbrella organization for unions in the state.
