Efforts 'round-up' successful fundraiser

The Soldotna Senior Center would like to thank all of the volunteers and merchants in support of the center's Fall Round-Up fundraiser. A big thank-you to Alaska Railroad for their very generous donation, and to John Nelson for the hand-carved Canada goose that was raffled. Another special thank-you for the wonderful door prizes to Wells Fargo Bank, J&H Sewing & Vacuum Inc., Mykel's Restaurant, River City Books, Acapulco Restaurant, Alyeska Tire, Beemun's Variety, Nikko Gardens, Radio Shack, Cad-Re Feed, Dody Tachick, Maureen Bridge, Mary Lane, Jersey Subs, Cold Stone Creamery, Dragonfly Gallery, Frames & Things, Log Gift & Jewelry, Virginia Penson, Schuck's Auto Supply, Northcountry Fair, Sweeney's Clothing, Alaska USA Federal Credit Union and Nita and Harvey Douthit.

A huge thank you to the Spur Highway Spankers for their awesome music and talent, Alaska Young Marines for their exemplary serving and cleanup, chef Paul Axtmann, head cook Margaret Phelps, Mary Lane, Ken Losser, Frank Keener, Estelle Parks, Ida Marie Mann and the many volunteers who worked tirelessly for the success of this fundraiser.
