FAIRBANKS (AP) -- A Venetie man was killed Friday after an apparent four-wheeler accident, Alaska State Troopers said.

Troopers did not provide details of the accident but said Isaac Ross, 47, had stopped breathing after the accident. Village health aides tried, without success, to revive him.

Ross' body was sent to Anchorage for autopsy.

Troopers said alcohol appears to have been a factor in the accident.
