ANCHORAGE (AP) -- An 11-year-old boy from the village of Kalskag has been arrested for shooting his 5-year-old brother, Alaska State Troopers said Tuesday.
Troopers said the boy intentionally shot his brother with their father's 12-gauge shotgun Friday during an argument over a Gameboy.
The names of the suspect and the victim have not been released.
The 5-year-old, who was shot in the left calf, was transported to Alaska Native Medical Center in Anchorage. He is expected to make a full recovery.
Troopers arrested the 11-year-old Monday evening and transported him to the Bethel Youth Facility, where he was being held Tuesday.
