Earthquake rattles Dillingham area

ANCHORAGE (AP) -- Dillingham residents felt a light earthquake centered in Bristol Bay on Tuesday afternoon.

The Alaska Earthquake Information Center said the earthquake struck 67 miles south of Dillingham and 10 miles deep at 4:47 p.m.

The earthquake had a preliminary magnitude of 4.0. No damage was reported.
