ANCHORAGE (AP) -- A woman found under an Anchorage bridge was a homicide victim, Anchorage police said.
The woman has been identified as Cynthia Lorraine Henry, 36, of Anchorage. Her body was found beneath the A Street Bridge near downtown at about 8:30 a.m. Tuesday during a patrol by the Anchorage Downtown Security Ambassadors.
Investigators said Henry died of traumatic injuries. No other details about her death were released.
''The investigation is continuing and we're talking to a lot of people,'' said Lt. Ken Cole, head of the department's homicide division. Police were hoping to talk with anyone who may have been with Henry Monday night or early Tuesday.
