Chestler family grows

Tristan Daniel Chestler

Craig and Adrian (Piatt) Chestler of Kenai announce the birth of their son, Tristan Daniel Chestler, at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2010, and their home in Kenai. He weighed 8 pounds, 4 ounces and measured 20 1/4 inches.

His grandparents are Daniel and Katherine Piatt of Kenai, Craig Chestler of Dillingham, and Joanne Wimberly of Colorado Springs, Colo.

His great-grandparents are Orin and Evelyn Piatt of Soldotna, William and Patsy Smith of Oceanview, Hawaii, Norma Chestler of Michigan, and June Wilmers Laurium of Michigan. Great-great-grandparents are Raymond and Katherine Standridge of Anchorage.

Skolnick, Galloway welcome son

Kelsey Erin Skolnick and Thomas Arthur Galloway announce the birth of their son, Kayden Thomas Galloway, at 8:12 a.m. Thursday, June 24, 2010 at Central Peninsula Hospital in Soldotna. He weighed 7 pounds, 3 ounces and measured 20 inches.

Kayden joins sibling Riley Mae Galloway, 1 1/2 years old.

His grandparents are Steven and Leah Skolnick of Soldotna and Daniel and Shelia Galloway of Soldotna. Great-grandparents are Barbara Skolnick of Soldotna, Tommy and Ollie Atakitlig of Togiak, Tom Bradley of Soldotna, and Glenda Case of Lamesa, Texas.

Baby boy joins Fortney family

Brandon and Kaitlyn Fortney of Soldotna announce the birth of their son, Carson Nicholas Fortney, at 8:04 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 17, 2010 at Providence Medical Center in Anchorage. He weighed 7 pounds, 10 ounces and measured 19.5 inches.

Carson joins sister Mackenzie Mae Fortney, 6.

His grandparents are Betsy and Jim Petterson of Kenai, Nick and Pam Fortney of Kenai, Albin Hale of Soldotna, and Mark and Luann Hope of Parker, Colo. His great-grandparents are Marlene Duffy of Kenai, Bonnie Glader of Colorado, and Mary Fortney of Florida.
