Kara Timblin and Tristan Raber were married August 7, 2010, and an afternoon ceremony at Hilltop Lodge in Anchorage. Chelsea Phegley officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Bridgit Timblin of New Mexico and Bill Emerson of Soldotna. She is a 2003 graduate of Nikiski High School and earned a degree in accounting from the University of Alaska Anchorage in 2009.
The bride wore a strapless satin gown with beaded lace neckline and chapel train. Her bouquet included pink lilies, purple orchids and white roses. Tiffiny Muller was the maid of honor.
The groom is the son of Dave and Barbara Phegley of Nikiski. He is a 1998 graduate of Kenai Central High School and completed his paramedic training at the Medical Training Institute in 2006. He is employed as a firefighter/paramedic by the Anchorage Fire Department.
Best man was David Phegley.
The couple honeymooned in Cancun, Mexico. They reside in Eagle River.
