Survey's in: Bridge needed

The other day I saw a copy of a recent survey taken of the people who live in Sterling and Funny River who were in favor of the bridge. Over 500 people signed this survey. Some of the reasons they considered when they indicated the need for the bridge included — safety, escape route, police response, added professional firefighters, added professional medical aid and safer school bus travel.
The only real opposition, as indicated in their Letters to the Editor, etc., comes from a few whiners who just do not want to realize or admit that the bridge is badly needed.
