I like what the people in Citizens for a Positive Future are saying. They want to continue the path that we have worked so hard to create with good schools, decent roads, a free landfill and services for our senior citizens. I like their positive message.
I’m tired of hearing the ACT people say “cut, cut, cut,” and then when you ask specifically what schools or services they would cut, they don’t have an answer.
ACT has sponsored Proposition 2 on the borough ballot, and it was purposely written to confuse us. If you want good schools, you need to vote “No.” If you want good road maintenance, you need to vote “No.” If you want services for our senior citizens, you need to vote “No.”
Let’s not be fooled by joining in their confusing campaign. I will be voting “No” on borough Proposition 2 on Oct. 3 and hope everyone else will, too.
