In the religion class, the children are studying about John the Baptist advocating repentance.

The fourth- through sixth-graders are studying the Babylonian and Assyrian empires. They are finishing up their dioramas, in which they describe an Assyrian or Babylonian ruler. The seventh- and eighth-graders are wrapping up a chapter in science about the scientific method.

All the children in grades four through eight are doing a geography study on the United States. They have learned all the states and are halfway through the capitals of those states.

The upper-graders are enjoying a physical education course on flag football. They are learning the different positions, how to take a proper three-step drop as a quarterback, how to run post, flag, in and out patterns, how to catch a ball properly, how to defend a receiver and how to be a good defender in general.
