Pet Photo: Best Friends

The Becker family of Nikiski sent in this photo of Mia. She was rescued from a pound in California several years ago, and since then has been a wonderful and affectionate companion, they said. "She had a courageous heart for such a little dog, and took defending her people and property very seriously. Her favorite thing to do after a good romp outside, much to our amusement, was to come back into the house and run laps around the living room." Sadly, Mia recently was hit and killed by a car.
