ANCHORAGE (AP) -- A 19-year-old Valdez man has died of suspected inhalant abuse, Valdez police said.

Valdez Police Chief Joseph Michaud said Austin Purser was found dead by his roommates. The roommates said Purser had huffed from an aerosol can of Dust-Off. That's a product used to clean computers.

Purser was a graduate of Valdez High and worked as a cook.

The police and family members are waiting for autopsy results to confirm the cause of the Sept. 21 death. Michaud said there's no indication of foul play.

Purser's family recently moved to San Diego, but he decided to stay in Valdez.
