Pease to speak at Soldotna chamber

Mary Ann Pease, vice president of corporate communications for ACS, will speak today at the weekly Soldotna Chamber of Commerce luncheon. The luncheon will be held at noon at the Riverside House. For more information, call 262-9814.

Safari Club program planned

The Safari Club will meet at 6 p.m. today at Don Jose's in Soldotna. Sheryl Sotelo will present information on the Bear Aware project at 7:30 p.m. For more information, call Ted Forsi at 260-3440.

Chamber to hold luncheon

The North Peninsula Chamber of Commerce will meet for a luncheon at noon Thursday at the North Kenai Baptist Church. The speaker will be Jim Carter with the Kenai Peninsula Borough Economic Development District. The public is welcome to attend. For more information, call 776-3250.

Marketing seminar offered

The Small Business Development Center is offering a seminar entitled "Unlocking your Marketing Potential: Nine Keys To Success" from 1 to 4 p.m. Thursday at the Red Diamond Center. Did you ever dress up for Halloween?The Peninsula Clarion is seeking fun photographs of kids of all ages in costume for an upcoming edition. Submit photos and print a brief explanation, the names of those pictured and a phone number and name of a contact person to Halloween Photos, c/o Peninsula Clarion, P.O. Box 3009, Kenai, AK 99611 or drop them by the Kenai or Soldotna Clarion offices. Only photos with an address written on the back will be returned. E-mailed photos will not be accepted.
