Flu immunizations for seniors offered

Kenai Public Health is offering flu immunization clinics in October for high-risk individuals. Clinics will be held at the Kenai Senior Citizens Center from 9 a.m. to noon Oct. 8 and 22; at the Soldotna Senior Citizens Center from 9 a.m. to noon Oct. 10 and 24; at the Nikiski Senior Citizens Center from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Oct. 11; and at the Sterling Senior Citizens Center from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Oct. 25.

High-risk individuals wishing to be immunized at one of these clinics can call the location to sign up.

High-risk individuals who cannot make it to one of these clinics can call the Kenai Public Health Center at 335-3400 to set up an immunization time.

The Kenai Public Health Center will offer flu immunizations for the general public starting Oct. 28. For more information, call 335-3400.

Flu immunizations will be given at the Homer Senior Citizens Center from 9 a.m. to noon Oct. 9 in the conference room.
