ANCHORAGE (AP) -- In a Sept. 30 story about three Alaska educators being the recipients of $25,000 Milken Family Foundations awards, The Associated Press erroneously reported that Michael Milken was banned from Wall Street for life after pleading guilty in 1990 to insider trading. The story should have said that while Milken pleaded guilty to six counts of security fraud, they did not involve insider trading and he was not convicted on those charges.
