Theft leaves family feeling lost

To who ever picked up my bank bag at Fred Meyer on Sept. 21 about 4:30 p.m.: You could have been a good person and ran to the Fred Meyer customer service center and left at least the Denali Kid cards and my ID with them. You left a mother and two 6-year-olds unable to get gas for their car and unable to get to the bank to get the rest of my rent payment.

You got my engagement necklace.

If I am ever in your shoes and I find a wallet or purse, the first thing I would do is contact the owner and take it to the customer service or the police because it isn't mine.

My whole family has lost sleep over this. I want you to know that isn't too late to turn at least my ID and Denali Kid cards in. Minutes after it happened, I notified the banks so you cannot use those bank things.

If you are a good person, you'll take this stuff to the Soldotna Police Department and there will be no questions asked.
