Walter Chulin

Walter Chulin died Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2001, in Glasgow, Mont. He was 65.

Mr. Chulin was born May 27, 1936, in Kenai where he lived most of his life.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ephim Chulin; his mother, Julia Mann; and two grandchildren, Matthew Pellegrin and Natalie Laude.

He is survived by his wife, Sally Chulin of Glasgow; his son, Wayne Chulin of Anchorage; twin grandsons, Wayne and Tony Chulin; daughter, Amy Pellegrin of Muskegon, Mich.; grandchildren James Griffin, Andrew Laude and Lindsay Laude; sisters Harriet Seibert of Bellingham, Wash., Patricia Mann of Kenai, Eleanor Wood of Granite Falls, Wash., Linda Ross of Kodiak and Bernice Crandall of Kenai; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be planned for July or August in Kenai.
