Watson, Clare marry in Soldotna

Kelsie Dawn Watson of Kasilof and Benjamin Mark Clare of Harbor Springs, Mich., were married at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 14, 2003, at the Soldotna Church of the Nazarene. The Rev. Micky Boyer, cousin of the bride, officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Dave and Dawnee Wat-son.

The groom is the son of Mark and Kimberly Clare.

Anna Watson, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Trisha Nash of Camano Island, Wash., Emily Clare and Elizabeth Clare of Harbor Springs.

The best man was Sam Clare, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Adam Watson of Kasilof, David Michaels of Soldotna and David Chesney of Kasilof.

Roma Boyer performed "When You Created Love" for the ceremony.

Special guests were Howard and Arlene Miller of Nampa, Idaho, grandparents of the bride; Joann Clare of Harbor Springs, grandmother of the groom; Gordon and Joni Wilmoth of Boise, Idaho, uncle and aunt of the bride; Ryan, Jill, Camille and Hunter Miller of Sitka; Jared Watson of Boise, cousin of the bride; Mitch and Sarah Tarter; uncle and aunt of the groom; Dave, Debbie, Lucas, Levi and David Michaels of Soldotna; and Lorraine, Jake and David Clare of Kenai.

The couple honeymooned in a log cabin in Talkeetna.
