Miss Ingrid will visit this week to do nutrition activities with the children and meet with parents.

"Raising a Thinking Child-I Can Problem Solve" training for families will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Oct. 15 in the Family House.

The children are learning berries with the Dena'ina words "hey gek'a" for low bush cranberry, "gega" for berry and "nudledi" for ripe berry. They also are learning that the number one in Dena'ina is "ts'elqi."

Families are reminded that children need their snow gear now through May 1.
