Redoubt celebrated its 25th birthday on Sept. 24. Students released more than 400 biodegradable balloons and Soldotna Safeway provided cake and ice cream for the entire school. Special guests included visiting alumni. The staff thanks the many parent volunteers, Soldotna Safeway, guests and Mrs. Hale, who coordinated the event for making this celebration a special day.
Redoubt's 2003-04 Adequate Yearly Progress report was included in last Friday's newsletter. Redoubt students exceeded the requirements for adequate yearly progress, with 80 percent of students testing proficient in math and 88 percent testing proficient in Language Arts.
