KPHA team wins two of three

The Kenai Peninsula Hockey Association PeeWee B team played its first three games of the season this weekend. Playing in Kenai, the squad won two of those games.

KPHA defeated the Anchorage Bulldogs 4-0. William Granger had the shutout. Brad Duwe had two goals, one assisted by Tyler Jensen and the other assisted by Brady Perkins. Jensen scored on assists by Zack Waters and Matt Boulette, while Waters scored on an assist by Eric Johnson.

KPHA also defeated the Anchorage Bulldogs 3-1. Goalie Keegan Remsen had 15 saves for KPHA. Duwe scored an unassisted goal, while Jensen scored assisted by Duwe and Johnson scored assisted by Waters.

Finally, KPHA lost to the Bulldogs 3-0. Granger had 15 saves in the contest, while Remsen added six saves.
