Three incumbents running for re-election to the Kenai Peninsula Borough School District Board or Education sailed to easy victories on Tuesday.
All three races were uncontested.
As the Clarion went to press, Sammy Crawford, of Kalifonsky Beach, had garnered 97 percent of the vote. Crawford has served on the board since 1998.
Sunni Hilts, of Seldovia, who represents the Southern Peninsula, excluding the City of Homer, took 97 percent of the vote in her district. She has held her seat since 2003.
In Seward, Lynn Hohl, who represents the Eastern Peninsula, including the communities of Cooper Landing, Moose Pass and Hope, had 98 percent of the vote. Hohl has been a board member since 2006.
